 Thulite Drop Bead Pendant

These bright beads are hand-carved from real, solid thulite! Their pinkish color is completely natural and unfading.  Each piece is slightly unique! 

Thulite, also known as pink zoisite, is the national stone of Norway. Our company hand-mined this material there. Now, as drop beads, their color has changed to a deep, darker pink, almost burgundy in places with a mottled appearance, and speckled with white/clear flecks or patches of quartz. A rare, occasional black spot is sometimes present. 

In the shape of a large dew drop and drilled from side to side at the top, they are about an inch high and 1/2-3/4 inch wide at the widest. The drilled hole is about 3 mm in diameter, the perfect size for our leather cords or blank necklaces, and suitable for wire wrapping or findings.

These can be worn alone, like a pendant, or can be mixed together with other beads to create unique jewelry. They are highly polished and make easy gifts.
